Our scientist are at it again....to review process skills students tested gummy bears in 4 different liquids (vinegar, water, baking soda water, salt water). Before putting in each liquid they measured the length of the gummy bear and made predictions on what they thought the bears would look like in 24 hours..when we returned the next day students were astonished at what they found.

Jason learned that it is very important to write down data when conducting an experiment so you can look back the next day and compare results.
I was very surprised with Kaden's prediction...he said he thinks the gummy bear in the vinegar will "disintegrate" some students were confused by this prediction so we looked up the word and found that it means to break up into small parts, typically as the result of impact or decay. These students AMAZE me!
