Declaration of Independence

Here is a video we watched this week to help us learn about the Declaration of Independence. 

There are four parts that the students need to remember for the DOI. 
1. Preamble-(introduction)
2. Natural Rights 
3. Grievances(complaints to the KING)
4.Resolution (conclusion) 
Can anyone comment and tell me who the main author of the DOI was? (You will be allowed to draw out of the coupon bucket if you respond)
