Road to the Revolutionary War

With a partner each student put together a puzzle piece that represented an event that led to the Revolutionary War. Here are the puzzle pieces each of the students created and soon they will be posting what their event was about.
French and Indian War 1754
The French and Indian war started out in Virgina when the Indians grew crops to survive
such as tobacco, and corn in Plymouth. After Robert LaSalle's discovery the French went to the Ohio River Valley to make the land French territory. Then the Colonists and French went to war! They were trying to both claim the Ohio River Valley because they thought that it was all about having land. The two sides of the French and Indian war was the French and Indians versus the Colonists and the British. The British and Colonists won the war and forced the French and Indians to give up the Ohio River Valley. By: Autumn Lockhart
